A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Manager/Senior Manager of SEC & Technical Accounting for a fully remote role. This is an exciting opportunity with a $100M+ public traded Life-Sciences company. The SEC & Technical Accounting Manager reports into the CFO and is responsible for ownership of the SEC process, in addition to technical accounting oversight. Highlights of this company/role include ability to own the SEC process, being the technical accounting SME, interacting with the audit committee, strong bonus package and compensation, and is a fully remote role. Responsibilities include: * Managing the SEC process, including the annual report and 10Q/10K fillings * Act as SME on various technical/GAAP accounting issues, including drafting technical memo's, M&A accounting, Revenue Recognition, SOX controls, stock-based compensation, and complex transactions * Partner across various teams including investor relations, FP&A, internal auditors and legal * Lead the implementation of new accounting standards * Assist with due diligence on potential acquisitions and with the integration process of acquired companies * Assist with the yearly and quarterly audit process * Perform technical accounting research
