As the Team Lead of one of our 5G Core Services Engineering group, you will take on a vital leadership role, guiding a talented team of 10 engineers dedicated to shape the future of Ericsson Integrated Core Solutions. Your leadership will be key in creating assets and driving initiatives focused on enhancing Commercial performance and lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Ericsson’s state-of-the-art telecom solutions.
In this position, you will promote close collaboration across various functions, including systems & technology, program management, and solution line, ensuring smooth coordination in defining and planning service readiness releases. A significant responsibility will be managing your section’s budget with a strategic emphasis on efficiency and innovation. Additionally, you will be an impactful member of the SolIDS Leadership Team, playing an active role in making high-level strategic decisions that influence the product and team direction.

What will you do:
Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team of 10 engineers focused on 5G Core service asset development, testing, and deployment.Collaborate cross-functionally with system & technology, program management, and solution line teams to define, plan, and execute service readiness releases aligned with business goals.Take full ownership of your section’s budget, implementing initiatives to enhance cost efficiency within the SolIDS area.Serve as an active and strategic member of the SolIDS Leadership Team, contributing to long-term planning and decision-making.Mentor and develop both junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical feld.At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within solution line and/ir research and development.Proven expertise in 5G Core functions with documented experience in the CNIS Portfolio.Strong knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture, including microservices and containerization technologies.Hands-on experience with testing methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to enhance quality and efficiency.Demonstrated business acumen with experience in budget management and driving operational efficiencies.Excellent problem-solving abilities, ensuring data-driven decisions and navigation through complex technical challenges.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, effectively coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Why join Ericsson?
