Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to establish and lead two brand-new teams at our Hyderabad location, focused on developing a cutting-edge Angular UI for our product suite. This role is perfect for a leader with a strong background in Angular project delivery, who is eager to hire, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams. You will drive the technical strategy, ensure best practices, and work cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional user experience. What you will be doing Ensure the delivery of timely high-quality results. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet business requirements through helping the team align with prioritized backlog while contributing to technical solutions by helping to define user storiesEnsure alignment with product vision through collaboration and frequent communication with technical and product leadership. Establish team organization in support of product directionLead a team to understand, adhere to and consistently implement the software development lifecycle. Proactively identify and communicate potential roadblocks to the team and leadershipProvide technical guidance, hands-on assistance and promote team culture with an emphasis on security, quality and engineering agility; remove barriers to enable the team to be productiveExecute department processes and standards to ensure alignment across the organization. Continuously improve processes through effective communication and acting as a motivator of change within the departmentContribute to and manage to an approved budgetCollaborate with team members and cross departmental stakeholders in creation, coordination and achievement of mutual goalsAssess employee and team performance against established quality metrics; track team performance against established metrics and hold direct reports accountable for meeting defined performance standards; provide feedback to employeesPerform all managerial functions and responsibilities associated with hiring, compensation management, employment relations and termination of employeesDevelop team members; coach employees through their personal growth in functional expertise, communication skills and ability to effectively interact with clients and peers. Assist with identifying and developing future leadersOperate as a thought leader among the team; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the departmentServe as an escalation point for issues; provide guidance resolve issues as necessary and remove obstacles for team
