Overview The Shopper Marketing Team at Sprouts is building for the future. It’s an exciting time to join a growing company – with a focus on driving change and innovation. This position will own the development and ongoing management of ad products that live within Sprouts Media and Shopper Marketing offerings. This role will also assist in the management of agencies and third-party partners – helping oversee vendor media plan execution, ensuring deliverables are on-time and executed to the business’ expectations and guidance on how to evolve the network. You’ll work closely with our technology team to define ad product requirements and coordinate resources, and input from key stakeholders. You'll also be responsible for identifying and tracking KPIs as you build these experiences. Additionally, this role will work with the leadership team to incorporate future opportunities into the marketing roadmap. As well as partner with the team during vendor planning to develop yearly and quarterly go-to-market plans for the brand community. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual, comfortable with ambiguity, with a strong ability to problem solve, and work cross-functionally. Overview of Responsibilities Define the long-term strategy for shopper marketing for on-site, Digital products, ensuring alignment with broader strategic vision of the Sprouts offering. Evaluates, recommends, and implements marketing technologies and tools that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and measurable business value for the Shopper Marketing function. Manage Integrations: Oversee vetting and integration of third-party ad servers, DSPs and Ad Ops Tools to enable seamless content and ad management across various channels, as well as any cross-platform integrations. Leads cross-functional collaboration by removing roadblocks, aligning stakeholders, and driving solutions that enhance execution speed and marketing effectiveness. Provide guidance, coaching and training to Marketing Specialist(s) within the team. Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicate direction and product priorities to the development team and other cross-functional stakeholders Develop key relationships and in some cases act as the liaison between Sprouts’ vendors, internal marketing team members, and merchandise team members. Understand, maintain and communicate strict timelines while working with cross-functional teams. Leads agency partnerships, including selecting vendors, setting clear performance expectations, and ensuring strategic alignment with Sprouts’ marketing objectives. Manage the process and functionality of our internal Retail Media portal as well as our marketing team project management system. #LI-CS1 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or closely related field. 6+ years' experience in a marketing related role either internally at a company or at an advertising agency with experience in media planning or retail media. Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication skills (both written and verbal). A clear ability to connect the dots and proactively provide solutions and opportunities outside of the “usual”. Inquisitive mindset and a willingness to step beyond the comfort zone and establish (not just work within) best-in-class standards. Excellent relationship-building skills and a natural like of people. A proficiency and technical ability in using computer and software systems including MS Office Suite and project management software (Asana experience is a plus). History of working against clear KPIs and success metrics. Resourceful and self-motivated approach to work, with an interest in learning and growing. Collaborative, team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
