Job Summary: Principal Responsibilities

This role, Franchise Marketing Manager/Senior Manager, is an integral part of the Integrated Marketing team responsible for driving awareness and build affinity for our brands and IPs (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic). Principal responsibilities include (1) managing local brand campaigns (2) manage events such as concerts/exhibitions; (3) work closely with regional and U.S on brand campaigns (4) partnerships with stakeholders (internally with various Lines of business and externally with agencies and partners), (5) assist in the execution of brand and annual CSR studies (6) act as brand guideline keepers and trainers and (7) To support various administrative functions related to smooth and efficient operation of Franchise unit such as managing social handles.

ResponsibilitiesLocal Brand Campaigns

Disney Franchise team is proud to have created numerous never-been-done-before, high profile, high impact campaigns by creatively working with third parties.

Co-create, develop, and manage brand building campaigns that are innovative, impactful, and most importantly, locally relevant. Excellent project management and communication skills are critical for this task. Examples of previous campaigns include NatGeo Run, New Taipei City Xmas event, Penghu international Fireworks Festival etc. 

Concerts and Exhibitions

Support partners and agencies while they bring in Disney musicals and concerts to Taiwan. Seeks ways to amplify awareness and drive ticket sales for these performances.

Social media management

Manage our main official social channels - Disney TW FB/IG. Through highly curated content, the aim is to engage fans with contents they seek and desire; deliver top quality content which align with our brands, and ultimately boost brand affinity and expand fan base.

Brand/Character Research Study 

Support the annual Character/Brand Equity Study. 

Stakeholder management

Connect and build relationship with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth progress of all Franchise projects and maximize benefits for all. 

Qualifications

We seek a self-motivated candidate with at least 6~8 years of marketing experience in a multi-national organization

Experiences working with media and event agencies

Experience in managing social platforms (FG/IG or others).

Experience showing ability to see a campaign from start to end, working with local and regional stakeholders.

Experience managing budget, including budget planning, tracking, and reporting

Able to work with agencies to pitch ideas/event proposals to outside parties

Able to work independently.

Excellent collaborative, teamwork and interpersonal skills, Creative and innovative, Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Fluent in both Chinese and English (comfortable in communicating in both writing & speaking a must).
