Job Summary
The Manager, Securitry is responsible for keeping a safe environment for our patients, visitors, volunteers, staff and physicians. Responsible for the protection of assets, and ensures a proactive and preventative security presence of the facility, enforcing applicable rules and physical security requirements. The Security Manager applies and implements the Facilities philosophy, goals and objectives. The Security Manager maintains a high level of efficiency and knowledge in security practices, equipment and training for healthcare facilities and maintains compliance as related to appropriate jurisdictions governing healthcare facilities.

Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of security management experience required Experience with security technology, including access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems. requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to think independently and make decisions to keep situations safe and secure within policy guidelines. Must walk, stand or run in all types of weather, up and down stairs, etc. Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Able to present information in briefings to multiple audiences and Executive team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office a must (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.). Must have the temperament to maintain a state of calmness in the face of adversity and danger. Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills.Licenses and Certifications
DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State required CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Basic Life Support Card issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
