Your ‘day to day’

Leadership & Management: Manage affiliate or a small cluster security organization in alignment with corporate security operational strategy, vision, and commitments. Act as a people manager, building relationships and trusted partnerships with peers, security teams, leadership, stakeholders, and local industry networks.Business Alignment & Visibility: Assess local emerging business and security operational needs to mitigate potential security threats and risks. Highlight risks and exposures to affiliate leadership, regional security, and other stakeholders. Training & Capabilities: Plan, organize, and deliver local security training programs in line with corporate security operations, PMI, and local regulatory requirements to build a robust security culture and expertise within the affiliate or small cluster.Budget & Cost Management: Provide input into the corporate and manage local security budgets, including revisions and travel expenses. Ensure effective budget management by proper controls, planning, analysis, and regular monitoring of spending.Performance, Reporting & Incident and Emergency Response Management: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of local security incidents and events. Review and consolidate metrics and KPIs to provide detailed reports and analysis.Security & Risk Management: Manage a local team in conducting complex risk assessments and screenings. Collect and analyze documentation, statistics, reports, and threat-risk trends. Establish local policies and procedures to identify and address threats and risks within the affiliate or small cluster.Third Party Service Providers / Project Management: Manage and oversee local third-party service providers in collaboration with Procurement, Corporate Security Operations Leadership, and Central Program Teams. Capable of supporting and being part of a team to manage complex security projects from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) through to commissioning.

 

 

 

 

Who we’re looking for

Education background graduate from College/University Security Diploma or Professional Certification (CPP).Minimum 5 to 7+ years’ experience gained in the corporate, operational security managerial environment (all threat operating theaters) or related field/area. Preferably from a security manager/security services management background (Oil & Gas, EPCM, Investigations, Intelligence, Crisis Management, Security Risk & Resilience, security vendor services etc). Experience in reporting/oversight: 3 to 5 reports or more covering - managing a local scope that encompasses affiliates/small clusters, Low to-severe threat complexity with over >1000 personnel / and or a cluster of smaller affiliates.Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English; other relevant local language skills a plus PC Skills: MS Office Package, Power BI is a plus. Experience conducting security risk assessments, projects, programs and security audits, familiarity with supply chain security standards (i.e. TAPA, C-TPAT), understanding of crisis management and emergency response best practice.Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills, high level of personal and professional integrity; leads by example, ability to deal with ambiguity in a complex organizational set-up.Ability to build strong business relationships and smart partnerships.Ability to establish strong networks, ability to analysis data and interpret, administer budget planning & forecasts, administer risk, threat and intelligence programs effectively.Knowledge of executive protection and journey management best practices is a significant advantage.Travel: Up to 20% travel throughout the local affiliate, occasional trips regional wide may be required.
