Job Overview

We are seeking a Manager - SAP Master Data Management responsible for overseeing and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of enterprise data in the SAP S/4HANA environment. This role involves developing and implementing data governance frameworks, managing master data processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance Strategy:Develop and implement an enterprise-wide data governance strategy tailored to SAP S/4HANA.Define data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.Establish data stewardship roles and responsibilities across the organization.

Master Data Management (MDM):Manage master data domains (e.g., material, customer, vendor, financial data) within SAP S/4HANA.Implement processes to monitor and resolve data quality issues.Collaborate with business and IT teams to standardize and centralize master data management practices.

Collaboration and Leadership:Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on data governance objectives.Provide leadership and training to data stewards and other team members on data governance processes.Drive organizational adoption of data governance tools and practices.

Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal data security policies.Mitigate risks related to poor data quality, inconsistent data definitions, and unauthorized access.

Tools and Technology:Oversee the deployment and usage of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) and other related tools.Collaborate with IT to manage system upgrades, integrations, and optimizations related to SAP S/4HANA.

Performance Measurement:Define and track data governance KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes.Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting progress and areas of improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience:

7+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, or related roles.Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP MDG.Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance strategies.Strong understanding of data quality principles, data security, and compliance frameworks.


Skills:

Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and related tools (e.g., SAP MDG, Data Services).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.Familiarity with regulatory requirements like GDPR, CCPA, or similar is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certification in S/4HANA or MDG.Experience with data migration and system integration in SAP environments.Knowledge of BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Compensation Package: $102,700.00 - $137,000.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility 

 

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
