Job Description

We are currently hiring a Quality Systems Manager to join our team in Westport. The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the processing of all electronic documentation at the Westport site. This role ensures that our Document Control Center (DCC) Department maintains compliance with local, regulatory, and legislative requirements related to Safety, Housekeeping, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The manager supports and complies with internal environmental health and safety requirements, procedures, and policies. By collaborating with QA, EHS, Compliance, and regulatory affairs, the Quality Systems Manager ensures all internal procedures meet current standards. Additionally, this role involves the maintenance of SAP quality material master data for the Westport Plant.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Document Control TeamOversee SOP, Manufacturing, and QA documentation onsiteHost DCC Tier Board meetingsPrioritize scheduling tasksCompile and report metrics for the DCC DepartmentProcess DCC GTW recordsManage the addition of SOPs to LMS Compliance WireApprove DCC-related SOPs and internal documentsCoordinate file retention activities onsiteRepresent the site in Global Documentation ProjectsCoordinate updates to global documentation to assess impacts on local proceduresMaintain SAP quality material master data
Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in a similar Quality Management roleProven leadership and team management experience in a Quality TeamA relevant tertiary qualification is desirableStrong decision-making skills and the ability to work independentlyExcellent team-building skillsExperience coordinating meetings with both Global and Local TeamsProficient in quality management systemsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent IT skills
