Are you a visionary in early childhood education, passionate about supporting services to deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families? We’re looking for a Manager – Quality and Pedagogy to champion continuous improvement and lead quality practices across our network of early learning services.

The Opportunity

As the Manager – Quality and Pedagogy, you will play a pivotal role in embedding a culture of quality and innovation. You’ll work closely with Centre Directors, Educational Leaders and Area Directors to elevate practice and pedagogy, strengthen compliance, and drive continuous improvement aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and our organisational strategic plan. You will also have the unique opportunity to be involved in the launch and roll-out of our new evidence-based Bee Curious curriculum.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide expert coaching, mentoring and leadership to Educational Leaders to strengthen curriculum and practice.Support services in working towards exceeding the NQS through tailored improvement planning and evidence-informed strategies.Monitor and ensure quality compliance across services in line with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and internal policies.Support and work with our teams to implement projects such as school readiness, diversity/inclusion, child safe and reforms such as funded three and four-year-old kindergarten and information sharing.Lead the implementation, embedding and ongoing review of our Bee Curious curriculum.

Partner with Centre and Area Directors to address quality challenges and build capability in instructional leadership.Lead quality audits and guide services through self-assessment, quality improvement planning, and regulatory assessment and rating processes.Contribute to the development and execution of the organisation’s strategic and operational plans, bringing a quality and pedagogy lens to decision-making.Promote reflective practice and innovation in early childhood education that is responsive to children, families and communities.Provide regular reporting as required.Collaborate with People and Culture colleagues on the development and delivery of training modules and micro-learning.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.Significant experience in quality assurance, educational leadership or pedagogy within the ECEC sector.Deep knowledge of the NQF, the Approved Learning Frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.A strengths-based, collaborative leadership style with a track record of building capability in others.Experience supporting services through A&R and leading quality improvement initiatives.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead across multiple stakeholders.
