Construction Quality Senior Team Member-PETCHEM
Quality Management:
Implement and monitor unit-specific Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO standards, corporate policies, and project requirements.
Ensure high quality outcomes by executing inspection activities, non-destructive testing, internal audits, and test package activities.
Meet project specifications and quality standards by implementing and qualifying welding procedures, inspection test plans, and job procedures.
Technical Documentation and Engineering Oversight:
Develop and implement quality control formats for various components including non-destructive testing, piping, structural elements, static and rotary equipment, painting, PWHT, and insulation.
Ensure compliance with Purchase Orders, relevant codes, standards, and specifications by reviewing and inspecting vendor documents and materials.
Material Inspection Management:
Conduct inspections and certifications of piping and other material, including welder qualifications, daily fit-up, dimensional checks, and visual weld inspections.
Conduct inspections at vendor workshops and prepare dispatch clearance certificates for acceptable materials.
Risk Management:
Integrate construction quality risks into the overall project risk management framework by coordinating with the Project team.
Develop and monitor risk mitigation plans for construction quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project outcomes.
Conduct joint walkthroughs with construction representatives on a fortnightly basis to ensure ongoing alignment with quality standards and address emerging issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Supervise the collation and review of final handover documents to ensure completeness and proper documentation.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to integrate quality standards throughout the construction lifecycle.
Team Management:
Support the implementation of a comprehensive Construction QA/QC training program to promote a culture of quality excellence and enhance team skills.

Educational Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience (Range of years):
12-18 years of relevant work experience, including at least 7 years in a similar role within a large or mid-sized organization, with proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in the Hydrocarbon sector.
Awareness of in International & national Codes and Standards like API 1104, B31.3, ASME SEC II, SEC V, SECVIII, SEC IX, ISO-9000, NACE, ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, BIS & BS code
NDT Level II in RT / UT
