If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.Job overview and responsibilitiesPurpose of the job is to manage a team of IKC members who will be responsible for tactical purchasing of parts to support Technical OperationsManagement role required to prioritize work and projects within the teamThis role is also required to streamline leadership and communication between the United States tactical purchasing team and the IKC teamLeadership needed to champion development of IKC employeesManages team responsible for purchasing in accordance with company policy and proceduresUses work management systems to execute to responsibilities and set project goals to constantly drive improvementsMeets with employees regularly to clear hurdles and escalate to senior managers as neededGrows knowledge of ATA chapters within each team memberDevelops employees by providing feedback and diverse opportunitiesTrains and supports supply-chain team members, including materials managers, buyers, analysts, and storekeepersServes as primary point of contact for suppliers for purchase discrepancies requiring immediate actionAttends weekly supplier performance, business, and technical review meetingsContinuously monitors supplier performance with respect to contractual metrics, including site and station auditsProvides feedback on suppliers to Sr. ManagersMaintains current knowledge on regulatory, policy, and industry issues that may impact supplier systems and operations

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelors degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business6 years supply chain or related experience2 years management/Leadership experienceLeadership and people management skillsSupplier managementContract knowledgeData AnalyticsKnowledge of purchasing and sourcing processesEfficient with time and adaptable to changing prioritiesMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
