CAE USA at Wright Patterson AFB, OH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead and manage a leading edge research, engineering design and development team. CAE USA is a leader in advanced simulation and training technology development and training systems support for domestic and international military training.
The Program Manager will join the Adaptive Technologies for Force Readiness (ATFR) leadership team to oversee operations, manage resource planning/forecasting, and contribute to the development of organizational strategy across various project/task orders, both internal and external. Will manage Projects Leads and Task Order Leads over a variety of Research and Development simulation testbeds at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and various deployed sites, in support of the US Air Force Research Laboratory, Human Performance Wing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops planning, programming, and budgeting documentation, including revised plans necessitated by development requirements or adverse budgetary decisions. Complete miscellaneous company program management requests for monthly, quarterly and annual overhead budget forecasts and reports.Prepare program development objectives and schedules for all phases of program development Responsible for managing assigned programs. Bachelor's degree in technical field with demonstrated management experienceMinimum of four years’ experience in program/project management within the research and development environment. Expert knowledge of program budget and schedule development and managementExperience managing the development of successful, highly-complex proposalsAble to communicate both verbally and in writing, with good interpersonal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or member of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or Board of Directors.Advanced mathematical skills are required. Possess complex financial managerial skills to include budgetary and proposal activities. A basic knowledge of accounting is mandatory. Possess complex financial managerial skills to include budgetary and proposal activities.Advanced analytical problem-solving skill is essential.Able to reason, plan, direct, and evaluate situations to make appropriate recommendations and take actions beneficial to the program and the company as a whole. PREFERRED SKILLS
PMP preferredPreferred candidate will possess at least a Master’s in Business Administration or Physical Science. Prior military experience a plus.Familiarization of Modeling and Simulation systems a plus.Prefer candidates with current Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
