If you are passionate about building energy's future and want to be considered when this role becomes available, we encourage you to submit your details. **Job Overview:** The Subsea Project Engineering Manager is responsible for managing the engineering scope of a McDermott project and establishing and implementing project procedures to ensure deliverables meet quality and technical content requirements by contract documents. They will manage the technical execution to support the business considerations established for the project and are responsible for the administration and technical management of the department. The Manager Project Engineering is accountable for assigning staffing for the Project Engineering positions on projects and proposals. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** • Manage the subsea engineering scope of a McDermott project. • Establish and implement project procedures to ensure deliverables meet quality and technical content requirements in accordance with contract documents. • Manage the technical execution to support the business considerations established for the project. • Instill and promote a Safety as a Value culture. • Responsible for the integrity of the work produced. • Responsible for cost, schedule, quantity, and budget control. • Ensure work is being coordinated with the other departments, offices, fabrication, and construction to meet project requirements. • Ensure proactive and effective management of change. • Monitor project performance and provide input and support as required. • Participate in monthly Project Reviews. • Execute Project Engineering Assessment (PEA) for Project Engineering. • Support proposal development. • Support the Lessons Learned process and continuous improvement initiatives of the company. • Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures. • Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures. Reports to: Project: Project Director or Project Manager Functional: Director of Engineering Liaise with: Project Engineer, PM, Discipline Lead Engineers, Engr Dept Managers, Construction / Fabrication Team, Project Controls, Finance, Proposals Supervises: Project Engineering Team **Essential Qualifications and Education:** • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in an Engineering Discipline. • 15+ years of experience and proven leadership experience in Subsea Project Engineering and / or Subsea Engineering Management experience. • Preferably Registered Engineer or member of Professional Engineering Society as applicable. • Demonstrated broad technical knowledge of detailed subsea design engineering codes and standards. • Familiar with detailed subsea engineering and design work procedures and processes. • Able to read and understand contractual documentation. • Able to effectively communicate with and Lead Engineers and non-engineers. • Field assignment experience. • Experience in International Projects. • Experience with multi-office (MOPEX) execution. • Experience in execution as part of a Joint Venture or Consortium Group. • Experience developing proposals and contractual documentation. • Experience in revamping (Brownfield) and grassroots (Greenfield) projects. \#LI-DNI \#LI-CA1 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
