Job TitleManager Project- and Process ManagementJob DescriptionAs a Manager – heading the teams of Project Managers (6 FTE) and Process Managers (3FTE) you have a defining role in achieving the strategic objectives of Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM).
Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM)
PVM - a global unit within Rabobank consisting of approximately 110 FTEs - is the process owner of procurement and vendor management processes and contributes to a strong cooperative bank by procuring goods and services at the optimal mix of low costs, low supplier risk, and maximum value for Rabobank. PVM's activities can be divided into five underlying processes: Strategic category management, Sourcing & contracting, Supply risk management, Supplier and contract life cycle management, and Requisition-to-Pay. Recently, PVM has been asked to expand its service portfolio with three additional services: "Intragroup Arrangements" (internal deliveries between Rabobank entities) and "Non Supplier Business Partners" (relationships of the bank to whom we pay money, but who are not suppliers) and the Report Ownership of the DORA register of information.
Global Services (GS) is one of the three departments of PVM and responsible for Processes, Systems, Data Management, Reporting and Project Management. With the extension of the mandate, PVM decided to set up a centralised Process Management team within Global Services and to strengthen the Project Management capabilities.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate and guide project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, according to quality standards, while mitigating project risks to minimize the likelihood of project failure.
Identify, analyse, design and continuously improve and simplify existing business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare and present detailed reports on process performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Ensure through project portfolio management that PVM management is well informed about project progress and impediments to enable decision making.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure goals and expectations are clear.
Create high performance teams balancing high quality results and a culture of trust & cooperation.
Get results
Improve project management capabilities by developing the team and implementing project management strategies and methods.
Improve effectiveness of strategic project portfolio of PVM.
Set up and positioning of the newly started process management team. Define the process management strategy and implement standardized ways of working.
Set up and (re)design existing and new PVM processes according to Rabobank standards.
Develop and communicate a clear vision for the teams' contributions to PVM’s strategic agenda.

You and your talent
Professional Master level knowledge and >10y of working experience.
Senior management experience in a global, complex and multi stakeholder environment.
Proven track record as senior project manager.
Analytical process-oriented thinking style. LEAN Black Belt is a plus.
Execution power, get things done together, in time and with right quality.
Strong senior stakeholder management capabilities.
Strong communicator, fluent in Dutch and English.
Knowlegde of procurement in financial services industry is a plus.
International & culturally sensitive.
Experienced in leading, coaching and initiating development of a team of professionals.
Proficient in developing and managing strategic (transformational) and operational plans.
