Northrop Grumman, Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a Manager, Programs Level 3, to join the SABR Product Line as a Capture Manager in our Combat Sensors Business Unit. The location for this role is onsite in Linthicum, Maryland. This position will report directly to the SABR Organizational Unit (OU) Director.

The primary objective will be to create and develop business opportunities to extend the SABR system on to additional platforms. In addition, this role will work closely with Strategy and Mission Solutions (SMS) to create a technology roadmap for the OU.

What You’ll Get To Do:  

Identifying and shaping strategic business opportunities to align with customer needs and business objectives

Leading the end-to-end execution of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP)

Conducting in-depth business case analysis to inform capture strategies and decisions

Managing and strengthening customer relationships to enhance engagement and trust

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key decision makers and stakeholders

Collaborating across internal teams and with Government Relations to align on customer engagement strategies

Anticipating and interpreting future customer requirements to shape innovative, mission aligned solutions

Driving the development and execution of competitive capture strategies

Leading cross-functional teams to develop and design compliant, innovative solutions that meet customer expectations

Preparing and delivering executive-level briefings to inform leadership and guide decision making

This position will require up to 25% travel (mostly domestic, with the possibility of some international travel in the future).

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries

At least +2 years of experience with formal and informal communication and presentations with all levels of internal and external management

At least +2 years of experience with creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers

At least +2 years of experience in Capture Management

US citizenship required

A current/active DoD Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain special program access after starting. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the aerospace/defense industry or within the Department of Defense.

Experience managing revenue, profit and cash performance of programs.

Experience adapting to changing environments, while maintaining consistently high customer relations, service, and engagement.

Experience with creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers.

Salary Range: $178,500.00 - $267,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
