In this role, you will own Public Mobile digital wholly alongside core platforms and experiences within Koodo Prepaid digital. You will build and support the products that enable these brands to thrive by focusing on the innovations that matter, demonstrate long term thinking while ensuring operational efficiency, and enabling the team to deliver on strategic imperatives.

The Prepaid digital team is responsible for the front-end applications and the intermediary API layer that power the Koodo and Public prepaid and subscription tools and portals, in collaboration with a platform and systems backend team. The team has led product innovations including the movement of Public Mobile into a digital only brand, as well as supporting the of migration core systems to a cloud-based platform.

 

As we enter the early phase of maturity for these brands and their relevant customer journeys, we need to adjust our approach to building and innovating product more strategically to help create focus. Your role will be to continue on this trajectory of innovation, building out customer self-management and digital marketing experience through developing, managing and delivering on an agile product roadmap anchored in strategic initiatives as set out by business and marketing stakeholders to help them deliver and execute effectively.

 

This fast-paced, exciting role provides the opportunity to be a part of a core strategic area of the organization. You'll be coaching and developing a diverse technical team including product owners, developers, designers, analysts, business analysts, QAs, and program strategists - this dynamic makeup represents our current team structure. To be successful on our team you must have the ability to see experience through the perspective of a customer, be data-driven, adaptive to an ever changing environment, and view collaboration as essential to your work and have a passion for all things digital.

 

 

Qualifications

 

What You Bring:

 

3-5 years of digital product management experience driving elements of product development lifecycle, such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch informing decisions with facts and data Previous people leadership experience, ideally for large teams of 30+ individual contributors A passion for designing and building towards best-in-class journeys and service delivery An analytical mind - you'll be laser focused on making the right decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data You are a strategic thinker, with a demonstrated ability to make the great decisions that maximize impact in resource constrained environments Proven experience in complex business environments, bringing people together to optimize strategies, test and learn with a focus on delivering results Take a proactive approach to building relationships with stakeholders to drive an integrated communications strategy across onsite and offline activities Demonstrates strong interpersonal, storytelling and communication skills - you have a way with words and are skilled in persuasive writing and editing in a sales & marketing environment

 

Great to have:

 

An appreciation for system architecture that will be the foundation for all of digital applications Proficient in managing budgets, including forecasting and reporting to ensure financial compliance and overall spend for the team Familiarity with both Agile Delivery Framework and waterfall delivery methodologies Understanding of Dev/Ops approach to digital product management Knowledge and appreciation of automation and the role it plays in development, testing and customer experience support
