Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Manager, Procurement 3 to support our Global Supply Chain Procurement team based in Maryland. This position may work from our Sykesville, Annapolis, or Baltimore, Linthicum or Elkridge, MD sites as well as Charlottesville, VA.The Manager in this role will be responsible for the direct supervision and management of their delegated staff. The Manager’s team will consist of up to 4 Managers as direct reports with an overall organization of approximately 45 who will support in Procurement activities across multiple commodities, focused in support of our Maritime/Land Systems and Sensors Division.In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:Build geographically dispersed teams into a single team of elite procurement specialists and subcontracts administratorsFoster a growth mindset amongst the team that elevates team performance to new levelsBe proficient in the procurement process, including but not limited to source selection, price analysis, negotiations, risk managementThe preferred candidate should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organizedCan quickly identify and communicate risk and opportunityHave a clear understanding of established processes and proceduresPossess the ability to align team goals to Sector and Division objectivesEffectively manage a supply base: Evaluate supplier delivery, quality, and cost performanceDevelop and maintain Strategic Supplier relationshipsSupervise release of RFQs for LTA and high-dollar purchase requisitionsExecute negotiations of LTAs and high-dollar contractsIdentify opportunities for cross Divisional strategiesAbility to understand engineering practices and work within the technology arena to further the connection between the technology roadmaps and Global Supply ChainAbility to plan schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in business management, program management, subcontracts administration, purchasing, procurement, or global supply chain. or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in business management, program management, subcontracts administration, purchasing, procurement, or global supply chain.5+ years of experience leading others, supervisory, or team leadershipFederal Acquisition Regulations, DFARs and terms and conditions experienceUS CitizenMust have ability to obtain and maintain active DoD Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:MBA or Masters in Supply Chain ManagementProgram Supply Chain Planning experienceInternational Buying CertificationProject Management experience with a clear understanding of establishing and maintaining schedules

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $221,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
