Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in payment solutions for Small, Medium (SME) and Global and Large (G&L) enterprises. The Global Commercial Services team enables businesses globally to pay for and finance what they need to grow their businesses through a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing. 

The objective of the GCS Control Management Specialized Operational Risk (OR) Privacy team is to provide subject matter expertise on specific Operational Risk topics to ensure the BU is equipped with in-depth knowledge of risk-stripes to manage and mitigate these risks effectively; supports the BU with expert guidance for topical Operational Risk intelligence.

The Global Consumer Services Control Management OR Privacy team is looking for a Manager of Specialized OR focused on ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies. 

The Manager - Privacy Control Management will:

Support subject matter experts in sharing of knowledge/guidance and participate in conversations with BU on associated topicsConduct initial review of planned guidance for BUs to ensure alignment with standards set by centralized specialist risk-stripe teamsFacilitate activities to comply with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types (e.g., AEMP 88 conduct risk management policy)Support integration of decentralized risk types into broader Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies and programsCompile and review topical risk information, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates relevant to each area of expertise, and support the day-to-day activities required to maintain the repository of topical risk informationCompile materials to support design and assist in dissemination of targeted training and awareness programs to increase understanding and management of specific risk topics within GCSSupport more senior team members in consultation on the design and implementation of controls tailored to specialized risk areasSupport more senior team members in compiling and reviewing topical risk knowledge to share with BU process owners to enable BU to strengthen and embed relevant ORM considerations into processesSupport gathering topical risk strategies and procedures to align with changes in the business environment and regulatory landscapeSupport sharing insights, better practices, themes, etc. across the enterpriseSupport the provision of privacy risk advice for Product, Marketing, and Sales/AD areas, including questions about CAN-SPAM and the TCPASupport the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) project management office 

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activitiesStrong project management, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standardsProficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively 

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc, JD) or certifications (e.g., CIPP/US) are advantageousExperience in at least one of the following: Supporting go-to subject matter experts in sharing subject matter expertise within the BU on decentralized risksFacilitating activities to comply with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk typesSupport advising on decentralized risk types into broader operational risk policies and programsExperience in financial services industry

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
