About the Job:
We are seeking a Manager to join our Harman Automotive AILab.
Harman Automotive is a pioneer in developing the consumer experience automotive grade. Our mission is to redefine the in-cabin experience with our iconic brands such as Harman, JBL, Infinity, Mark Levinson, Bang & Olufsen, Bowers & Wilkins, Revel and Lexicon.
The ideal candidate will have a strong impact focus and experience in developing, deploying, and managing AI solutions in production environments. They should also have experience working with popular cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.) and developing cloud-based solutions.
In this high-impact position, you will lead a team of ML experts and collaborate with global product management and automotive engineering teams on definition, design, and implementation of compelling orchestration AI automotive solutions.
What You Will Do:
Lead the Orchestration AI team to develop and implement AI solutions that significantly enhance business outcomes and align with strategic objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide data-driven solutions.Work closely with business units to drive the development of AI-based features across our product portfolio.Oversee the long-term architectural planning ensuring scalability, adaptability and integration in automotive productsExplain complex concepts and models to stakeholders and customersPromote a data-centric culture at Harman, supporting our progression towards a technology-driven companyWhat You Need:
7+ years of hands-on experience in implementing production-level ML & AI solutionsProficiency in Python and popular ML & AI frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch, etc.)Extensive knowledge in building data preparation and evaluation pipelines (e.g., Airflow, MLflow, Databricks, etc.)Solid understanding of (AWS) cloud computing with DockerProficiency in classical software development tools (e.g., Git, SQL, command-line tools, etc.)At least 3 years of leadership experienceMaster’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsWhat Makes You Eligible:
Willingness to travel up to 20%, domestic and international travelWhat is Nice to Have:
