Job Description Job Title: Manager Port Cost Analytics & Operations
Division: Marine Operations | Department: Port Operations
Summary: This role is responsible for analysing and optimising port-related costs, services, and processes to support financial decision-making and enhance itinerary and deployment planning. It involves developing data-driven insights, improving tariff transparency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Finance, Port Operations, and Planning.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse port costs, identify savings, and implement cost-efficiency measures Lead budget planning and vendor contract negotiations Develop and present reports to provide transparency and support itinerary planning Support business cases, process improvements, and strategic initiatives Perform other duties as required Requirements: Degree in Business, Logistics or similar Minimum 3 years’ maritime industry experience (cruise sector preferred) Strong financial and analytical skills; cost-conscious with procurement experience Proficient in MS Office 365; Power BI and MXP experience desirable Experience in reporting, presenting, and initial leadership preferred Skills & Attributes: Excellent time management and organisational skills Proactive, autonomous and results-driven Strong collaboration and communication abilities Professionalism and reliability in all tasks Impact & Scope: This role contributes directly to financial performance and long-term deployment planning through analytical insight and cost transparency. While not a people manager, the postholder influences decisions across multiple departments and plays a key part in optimising operational and strategic efficiency.
