POSITION OVERVIEW

This CoE encompasses a focus on leading key global, enterprise organizational structure and culture transformations, building our enterprise pipeline of talent, performance management, leadership development, learning, team effectiveness, and change management. This role will be critical to managing complex, global and transformational programs for the enterprise through a strategic approach to planning, executing, and tracking project deliverables from concept through to launch.  This individual will work in collaboration with senior executives, HR and business teams and demonstrate program ownership in driving key initiatives to completion and impact. This role will also be a key partner with the Global VP & Head of the CoE in managing the operations across the CoE team.

The PMO Mgr, IGBS is a high-impact position with goals focused on driving program execution that reshapes Insulet in support of Company vision and strategy (STRAP). Leading teams & project portfolios across the organization’s functions, and in coordination with key stakeholders, the PMO Mgr, IGBS brings consistency, integrity, and intensity into strategically critical program execution.  In addition, this role will establish and lead Global PMO COE execution, Portfolio Risk management and quality standards. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recognized as an expert in leading complex projects and programs, you will manage, consult, facilitate, and assess the business needs and determine the best approach to effectively manage global projects from start to finish. You will also work across boundaries, functions, and geographies and will work with external consultants where needed to support the work.

Leads PMO COE execution capability for Insulet to support the Insulet enterprise beyond specific IGBS Center activities

Partner with key program stakeholders and drive program implementation across workstreams and business groups

Accountable for critical/complex project execution within overarching portfolio

Ensure delivery of the portfolio against the implementation plan & roadmap with regular reporting cadence and successfully manage program risks, issues, actions and decisions

Supports Portfolio PMs to produce leadership reporting for the program, drives critical issues escalations and define mitigation strategies

Lead deep-dive risk and issue resolution sessions as required during execution

Participate on periodic roadmap assessment and facilitate re-planning sessions as needed 

Drives E2E Portfolio quality process and reviews, ensuring portfolio optimal execution and iterations with process improvements

Supports people and organizations through significant change strategy, execution and adoption

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, PMP, etc.) a plus

7+ years experience in managing large cross-functional business transformation projects/portfolios

Excellent planning and management skills, ensuring that cross-functional team members understand roles and responsibilities and key deadlines are met

Experience establishing a new capability for enterprise value delivery including required stakeholder management, best practice sharing and process improvement

Ability to develop and manage portfolio of projects – prioritization, tradeoffs, risk management, etc.

Business / finance acumen – ability to understand financial components of project scope & reporting

Ability to understand end to end processes & dependencies and how project scopes impact business

Excel / analytical & PowerPoint development & delivery skills, suitable for executive level

Proven track record of managing diverse stakeholders in a high-paced, ambiguous environment quickly building their trust, so they see you as a partner and problem solver, with a strategic mindset and ability to execute to a strategic plan.

Experience in deploying programs/projects across a variety of functions:  IT, Finance, HR, etc.
