Hybrid position with onsite required at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA and Corporate Office in Burlington, MA **Job Overview** This manager will service a pivotal health system level role to ensure alignment, operational continuity, effective internal communications, and stakeholder engagement across all Tufts Medicine physician groups. This includes the Tufts Medical Center Physician Organization (PO), which is the Tufts University School of Medicine’s faulty practice, Tufts Medicine Integrated Network (TMIN), and Tufts Medicine’s Community practices. These physician groups are integral to the delivery of care, education, and research at Tufts Medicine, and the manager will work to keep these groups informed, engaged, and aligned with organizational goals and operational priorities as well as assisting in opportunities for bidirectional communication. This role will have a matrix reporting relationship dually to the President, Faculty Practice and the President, Tufts Medicine Integrated Network (TMIN). This manager will be responsible to liaison and partner with the Tufts Medicine marketing and communications team for alignment. This position will serve as a central coordinator for internal communications, updates, and engagement across all parties, particularly during times of change or significant initiatives. The manager will be responsible for ensuring all stakeholders—including physicians, administrative leaders, and external partners—are supported and informed through the use of various communication forms such as written communications, presentations, social media, internal postings and status reports. **Job Description** **Minimum Qualifications:** 1. Bachelor’s degree **AND** five (5) years of experience in healthcare operations, business continuity, or operational strategy with a focus on stakeholder engagement and alignment **OR** ; Master’s degree **AND** three (3) years of experience in healthcare operations, business continuity, or operational strategy with a focus on stakeholder engagement and alignment **OR** ; Master's degree **AND** completion of Administrative Fellowship including high impact projects, collaborate with senior executives, and develop a comprehensive understanding of how healthcare organizations function. 2. Experience working in academic medical centers, clinically integrated networks, or large-scale physician organizations. **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Five (5) years of experience in healthcare operations, business continuity, or operational strategy with a focus on stakeholder engagement and alignment. 2. Experience working closely with senior leadership teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure operational success. 3. Experience supporting leadership with internal communications, project management, and reporting within a complex healthcare or academic environment. **Duties and Responsibilities:** The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Acts as the primary point of contact for leadership, stakeholders, and external partners during organizational change, ensuring that all groups are kept informed and engaged. 3. Develops and delivers regular status reports, presentations, and updates to internal leadership and stakeholders, ensuring that critical information is communicated clearly and in a timely manner. 4. Maintains continuous operational oversight by coordinating with various teams to anticipate and address issues before they impact the physician groups. 5. Develops and implements strategic reporting methods, including regular updates, newsletters, and presentation decks, to keep all stakeholders informed of key initiatives, progress, and challenges. 6. Collaborates with leadership to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that progress is communicated through actionable, data-informed reports. 7. Works alongside the Tufts Medicine marketing and communications teams to align messaging efforts with broader institutional goals, particularly in enhancing the organization’s reputation in both clinical and academic settings. 8. Helps to create and promote content that underscores Tufts Medicine’s leadership in clinical care, research, and education, supporting initiatives that elevate its brand in the healthcare and academic spheres. 9. Provides support to faculty practice, network leadership, and community practices ensuring their access to key organizational updates and relevant status reports. 10. Maintains a comprehensive schedule of leadership meetings, events, and initiatives, ensuring that all relevant parties are prepared and informed ahead of time. 11. Helps to coordinate logistics and materials for leadership forums, meetings, and other gatherings that require multi-stakeholder participation. 12. Leads the development and implementation of continuity plans to ensure smooth operations during times of change or disruption. 13. Coordinates with relevant departments (e.g., MarCom, IT, emergency preparedness) to ensure physicians are equipped with the tools and support needed for continuity during crises. 14. Tracks and reports on key metrics related to continuity efforts, risk mitigation strategies, and physician engagement. 15. Serves as the primary liaison to external vendors, service providers, and consultants, ensuring that their work is aligned with the goals of Tufts Medicine and that they contribute to overall operational continuity and engagement. 16. Collaborates with faculty and leadership to enhance the visibility of Tufts Medicine’s accomplishments in clinical care, research, and education. 17. Helps to organize initiatives and outreach that highlight the academic and clinical achievements of Tufts Medicine, particularly in areas of innovation and excellence. 18. Fosters a strong, unified message across internal and external platforms, ensuring that the physician network’s achievements are widely recognized and supported. 19. Acts as a liaison, ensuring alignment between departments and facilitating smooth decision-making. 20. Ensures that the organization runs efficiently and strategically. 21. Ensures that the organization, senior leadership, and marketing/communications remain connected in order to gain insight, to interface, and to bring to life key initiatives. 22. Maintains line of site and visibility with senior leadership and physicians. **Physical Requirements:** 1. Work environment is a professional office environment with typical office requirements such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. 2. This is largely a sedentary role, which involves sitting most of the time, but may involve movements such as walking, standing, reaching, ascending / descending stairs and operate office equipment. 3. Frequently required to speak, hear, communicate, and exchange information. 4. Able to see and read computers displays, read fine print, and/or normal type size print and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. 5. Required to routinely travel to different locations within Tufts Medicine to support business operations. **Skills & Abilities:** 1. Strong strategic and operational planning skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results. 2. Superior written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise messages for diverse audiences. 3. Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration across departments and specialties. 4. Skilled in creating and delivering presentations, reports, and status updates to senior leadership. Proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet). 5.
