Position Purpose:
The Manager of Operations Strategy will facilitate key strategic initiatives to successfully implement change and deliver value to the organization. The manager will own all aspects of program management including management of cross-functional linkages, program tracking and reporting, issue and risk management, cross-functional communication and timelines & logistics. The manager will also conduct data analytics activities to support and inform decision making on key strategic projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Connect cross-functional teams to identify dependencies and facilitate removal of roadblocksProvide avenues for accountability to facilitate teams delivering their commitmentsCapture and manage risks and escalations as needed to drive ongoing progressInfluence stakeholders and leadership through data-driven reporting; build and manage program reporting, plans, and dashboardsSupport the definition of outcomes delivered by the initiative, in partnership with stakeholders and subject matter expertsManage program communications with stakeholders and participants and determine resources required to support business partnersFacilitate assignment of initiatives across the team based on business partner needs and associate strengths and development needs
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
Direct and indirect reports typically include 2-5 Business Analysts.Typically requires frequent persuasion or influencing of others. Usually assigns and reviews work of others.Typically procedures for analyzing situations and making conclusions are very diverse.Typically considers among many different options or procedures when solving problems.Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Under constant pressure to continuously meet tight deadlines, demanding quotas and/or must regularly deal with difficult situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
