Description
We are looking for an experienced Manager of Workman's Compensation Insurance Services to oversee operations within the Member Services Department. This role is focused on delivering cost-effective and valuable programs to Fmembers while ensuring seamless customer service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in benefits management and a commitment to maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Implement effective customer service strategies for all department programs, services, and benefits.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all departmental offerings, including programs, products, and services.
• Process applications and documentation for new claims or policy transfers, ensuring timely submissions.
• Manage new and transfer applications for Workers’ Compensation, submitting them to the New York State Insurance Fund for eligibility in Safety Group 486.
• Apply company policies and pricing strategies to tailor solutions that best meet client needs.
• Review and update client records within the computer system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company guidelines.
• Process new policies, update databases, and forward necessary documentation to relevant agencies as required.
• Collaborate with the IT department to test and optimize database functionalities for smooth daily operations.
• Foster communication with other departments to support their responsibilities and enhance overall organizational efficiency.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Farm Bureau leaders, participants, and representatives from affiliated organizations.
Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in benefits functions, including analysis and coordination.
• Strong background in compensation and benefits management.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective benefits programs.
• Experience in processing and managing Workers’ Compensation applications and claims.
• Proficiency in database management and record-keeping systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and relationship-building.
• Ability to work independently and oversee departmental operations in the manager’s absence.
• Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and pricing structures.
