Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for: What do we expect:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Team Manager to join our Digital Portals team. You will be working with an enthusiastic team of developers and product managers working closely to maximize quality of software delivery products and enhancing user experience. Sometimes, issues might get tricky, and this is where cooperation on troubleshooting with other IT support teams and specialists will come into play. You’ll be working in agile and waterfall environments, but always focusing on building user centric applications and running them according to the motto: \"You build it, you run it\".This role will help DHL to continuously improve strategic products delivering secure, high-quality software products to ITS internal teams and BUs.
What you will do:•\tLead and manage a team of software engineers and product managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. •\tFacilitate communication and ensure clarity of project expectations and outcomes.•\tOversee the development and maintenance of different products, ensuring they are based on a modern, scalable, and cost-efficient architecture.•\tProvide leadership, aligning the team's goals with the company's digital strategy and ensuring successful execution.•\tFoster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share ideas and implement best practices.•\tIdentify skill gaps within the team and facilitate training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.•\tAssist in the preparation and management of the team’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.•\tCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.•\tConduct thorough analyses to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement and ensure valuable product roadmaps.
What you should have:•\tStrongly demonstrated leadership in service, customer orientation, project management and communication skills•\tExcellent understanding of DevOps Processes in a cloud based environment•\tExcellent understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and procedures (ideally scrum master certification and solid skills in tools like jira, confluence).•\tExperienced in working in multi-cultural environment, managing project teams in direct and widely dispersed geographical locations.•\tCapability to lead, motivate, inspire and encourage highly skilled people.•\tProvide guidance and support to team members, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.•\tSolid technical understanding of complex system integration and networking architecture.•\tSkilled in budgeting and managing revenue.•\tResults oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on high quality service performance across different location and culture.•\tProfessional in Information Technology, with more than 5 years management experience in a multinational company•\tGraduate in a technical and business-related discipline - MBA or equivalent
