Manager of Simulation, Education and Innovation

Hours: 8a-5p with flexibility, occasional weekends. 

Location: Primary location is onsite at Southfield and requires travel to Novi onsite a couple times a week.

Manages the simulation/experiential learning programs within the simulation lab to align with organizational goals, clinical education, and research. 

Responsibilities: 

Manages operation of the simulation lab. Develops and implements simulation policies, procedures, and practice standards.Serves as the simulation content expert. Stays current on technology, simulation and innovative educational trends. Disseminates simulation research to improve instructional learning strategies.Coordinates development and deployment of innovative scenarios to address clinical, patient care, environment of care and management issues.Oversees collection and analysis of evaluation data to ensure continuous improvement in the development of simulation-based education programs and curricula.Develops and coordinates inter-professional partnerships, strategic fiscal partnerships and other collaborations with community members.Oversees simulation activities and training including simulation operators.Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience required. Graduate degree in simulation and education preferred.

3 years in a leadership  role preferred. 

 

Track record of GME Program role is preferred.

Data management and research background experience preferred.
