Manager of Projects- Transportation Market

What You’ll Do As a MoP for our Transportation Market, you’ll be a key member of our local leadership team, directly supervising Project Managers and guiding them toward professional and financial success. You’ll foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and excellence while helping deliver projects that improve mobility and quality of life. Your leadership will span: •Mentoring & Coaching: Develop PMs’ skills in budgeting, scoping, execution, risk management and client engagement •Project Delivery: Assist PM’s and project teams in navigating our internal processes to ensure a successful project delivery to the client •Project Oversight: Lead monthly reviews, risk assessments, and quality planning •Strategic Growth: Partner with Client Account Managers (CAMs) and Department Leaders (DLs) on market strategy, staffing, and succession planning •Financial Performance: Drive gross margin results, manage change and cash flow, and ensure accurate forecasting •Client Impact: Support strategic pursuits, pricing strategies, and client satisfaction feedback •Proven experience in project management within a consulting engineering environment •Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness •Expertise in contracts, risk management, and project execution •Exceptional organizational and leadership skills •Familiarity with transportation clients and market dynamics Preferred Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree in a related field •Professional registration (PE or equivalent) Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
