What you will be doing
As the Manager of Measurement & Reporting Excellence at Albertsons Media Collective, you'll lead the evolution of our measurement suite, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in the dynamic retail media landscape. From design and conceptualization through to piloting and full-scale deployment, you'll oversee the execution and operations of our measurement tools and capabilities. You will ensure effective and efficient performance measurement across all advertising channels. This includes building 3P data and measurement partnerships, partnering with our Research, Engineering and Product teams to bring new metrics to life, unlocking closed-loop measurement for offsite channels and ultimately pushing the envelope on Retail Media Measurement.
In this role, you'll also help the team stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, implement new methodologies and technologies, and guarantee data quality for clients and stakeholders.
You'll guide and mentor data analysts, scientists, and engineers responsible for gathering the business needs and requirements, translating complex problems into actionable steps, and championing the value of measurement across the organization. You’ll bridge organizational knowledge gaps by fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment. You'll also develop and implement reporting solutions and strategies aligned with broader objectives, ultimately driving successful decision-making and growth for both Albertsons Media Collective and its clients. This is a dream role for someone who thrives at the cusp of Product Management and Product Marketing.
The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA or Boise, ID and does require 4 days per week in the office.
Main responsibilities:
Lead the overall Measurement Product and Capability roadmap for a set of channels Oversee the execution, implementation, and improvement of existing measurement and reporting capabilities and metrics Identify and spearhead 3P measurement partnerships in collaboration with legal, engineering and senior leaders across The Collective Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Client Success/Sales, Media Planning and Activations, Analytics, etc.,) and external clients and vendors to understand their reporting needs and business priorities. Build and foster relationships with various media tech vendors to ensure seamless execution of key measurement service offerings Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for stakeholders across the organization. As a subject matter expert, provide consultation and training to both internal and external partners, ensuring widespread understanding and effective implementation of advanced methodologies and capabilities. Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering and business stakeholders at all levels to define project priorities and requirements, and secure alignment. Champion industry best practices and translate market insights into actionable strategies to ensure successful implementation. Bridge knowledge gaps by fostering knowledge sharing and organizational training Translate complex data and technical concepts into clear and insightful presentations for senior leadership and key customers. Ability to drive consensus across diverse teams and personality types. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partnering with senior leadership to effectively communicate research discoveries and recommendations for strategic planning and resource allocation.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 6+ years of experience with 3+ years in marketing measurement, analytics, or reporting roles, with a preference for experience in retail media or media agencies.We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
Experience working with a wide range of measurement methods, including rules-based and algorithmic attribution, incrementality, test vs. control, Bayesian inference, etc. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities is a critical requirement for this role Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of simplifying complex issues and proposing innovative recommendations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts and technical information to diverse audiences. Demonstrated leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and results-oriented approaches in addressing complex business challenges. Experience in retail media and familiar with DCR technologies. Proficiency in: Statistic concepts, programming / query languages: SQL, Python, R

Pay transparency language (if applicable)
The salary range is $95,400 to $123,900 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
