We are looking for Manager of Engineering – LV MCC. This position will be based in Queretaro, Mexico.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of LV MCC Operations Engineering to lead our engineering team in the design, and implementation of LV MCC (Low Voltage Motor Control Center) systems and solutions. The Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire operations engineering process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality LV MCC solutions that meet our clients' specifications, operation requirements and industry standards.
Roles & Responsibilities• Lead and manage a team of engineering managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and manufacturing, to define project requirements and deliverables.• Drive the design and development of LV MCC systems and solutions in close coordination with Sales engineering team, including schematics creation, and layout design.• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations throughout the engineering process.• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure successful project completion.• Review and establish engineering processes and documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Provide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders, resolving engineering-related issues and inquiries in a timely manner.• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical power system engineering, and incorporate relevant advancements into our engineering processes.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team, promoting innovation, efficiency, and excellence in all aspects of electrical power system design and development.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical power system (or related) engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, with experience in designing protection philosophy, communication architecture, schematics and three-line diagram.• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.• Experience in developing and implementing organizational processes, policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement.• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NEC and UL requirements.
