The shift will be Monday - Friday daylight business hours, with some travel to start during onboarding and training.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of technical systems & logistics the distribution process
Manage all aspects of training and development of warehouse associates and supervisors
Develop and execute action plans for improvements to meet company goals and objectives
Perform inventory management, cycle counts, and physical audits maintaining accuracy standards
Design initiatives and develop strategies to increase the effectiveness of logistics functions
Guide team members in daily operations to ensure a high degree of safety, service and quality
Evaluate current work methods and determine ways to eliminate inefficiencies
Plan and coordinate work, monitor and evaluate the performance of warehouse associates and supervisors
Ensure that materials are staged for inventory and inspection
Monitor the flow of paperwork ensuring timely data entry
Monitor and measure the accuracy of location, movement and storage of material
Develop and recommend budget requirements for the warehouse
Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level, to accomplish the distribution center needs in an effective and efficient manner
Maintain all established through-put standards
Meet budget goals and productivity standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Industrial Management or related field
5-7 years of experience, including 5 years experience warehousing, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in a distribution center/manufacturing environment and 5 years supervisory experience
PC proficiency in MS Office
