Job Purpose
The Manager of Customer Engagement & Industry is a strategic consultant to our field leadership team (CVPs, Directors, Associate Directors) and program manager who drives critical customer meeting readiness and industry engagement across our commercial organization. This role brings storytelling, creativity, and strategic alignment to customer-facing content, industry event execution, internal enablement tools, and enterprise storytelling.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Critical Meeting Support – Serves as a consultant to Customer Vice Presidents, Directors, and Associate Directors for content priorities, narrative design, process and people to engage, and operates with the overarching customer experience in mind. Supports critical meetings with experiential support across the five senses. Owns agency engagement for new asset development, budget coordination, and brand approval/alignment. Serves with a host-mindset and uses a visual-eye to ensure that all components of the meeting are harmonious and consistent with the story we want to tell. Top-to-Top Content / Innovation Summit Content – Partners with the Customer Engagement & Communications manager and team lead to design content for external use that brings to life our how-to-win enablers and priorities across Innovation, Supply Chain, Digital & Scale, Category Leadership, Sustainability, and Execution Excellence Industry Relations – Owns the end-to-end execution of the industry relations strategy (FMI ABC, FMI Midwinter, WAFC, NFRA, NGA) amongst internal stakeholders and external attendees. Supports internal prep inclusive of run-of-show calls, content narrative and construction, know-for-next-year takeaway consolidation, and aids in the event recap internally. Owns overarching experience strategy execution inclusive of room decor, agency involvement, and sampling priorities and execution. Owns industry insights publication consolidation and distribution to Sales, BU's, Category Leadership, and other functions. Owns budgeting and tracking throughout the year. Industry SharePoint Management – Supports the ongoing development and usage of the Industry SharePoint site. Creates and communicates processes and ways of working planning guides, trackers to support content, prep materials for attendee presenters and customer team stakeholders, and aids in the rollout of Industry planning materials and resources. Asset Management – Owns the creation, launch, rollout, and adoption efforts of the Library of Things for team-owned materials and other cross-functional materials for event support. Commercial Conference – Supports content narrative flow, team guidance, and audience understanding of strategy and materials presented. Serves as a key partner in crafting stage-worthy decks and content centered in our How to Win principles. Aids in content beautification efforts. Sales True North Championship – Aids the Lead in the creation of a revitalized Sales True North Championship rooted in sales priorities. Owns the creation of the communications strategy throughout the year and the authoring of any supporting materials for its implementation. Aids in creating an incentive program and progress monitoring throughout the year. Advantage Survey / Kantar PoweRanking – Supports the Lead in insights aggregation and narrative to the sales team and leadership as well as ensuring U.S. deliverables are well represented in Advantage Global workstream. Partners with the manager of Engagement and Communications to share out Advantage best practices in sales communications channels.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Experience in CPG content design and narrative crafting experiences Outstanding written, visual, and verbal communication skills Strong executive presence and comfort interacting with senior leadership Ability to build cross-functional networks at all levels of the organization Ability to present to senior leadership and external partners/vendors Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills Strong PowerPoint and content creation skills; familiarity with tools like SharePoint and Teams Experience prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail CPG industry experience preferredWork Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a Remote based role that can be performed from a home office. Additionally, this role requires work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against expectations. 15% travel required for critical industry events.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$102,100.00 – $127,600.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
