Job Summary

\n

As the Manager of Comprehensive Care, you will manage a team focused on patient care. Your role includes planning for optimal clinical outcomes and efficient resource use. Work closely with staff in different areas to coordinate care effectively and maximize benefits for patients.

\n

Essential Functions of the Role

\n\nSupervise administrative, technical, and clinical tasks using industry best practices. This involves hiring, firing, evaluations, growth plans, and troubleshooting.\nWork collaboratively to address ongoing issues tied to patient care coordination, discharge planning, case management, and utilization review.\nMonitor procedures and systems closely for efficient service delivery.\nDevelop new tools, procedures, and systems to enhance case management effectiveness.\nConfirm that patient care necessities are met and treatment plans are carried out appropriately at every level of care.\nCreate systems to involve healthcare professionals in planning and delivering care.\nEncourage teamwork among doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and social workers for better patient outcomes.\nImplement standardized policies to streamline operations and ensure top-notch patient care. Verify compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.\n\n

Key Success Factors

\n\nUnderstanding human behavior and performance, including diverse abilities, personalities, and interests, is beneficial.\nAssessing and treating behavioral and emotional disorders also helps.\nHaving a talent for organizing structures, relationships, and processes can help with overall care planning and discharge.\nThe capacity to standardize policies, procedures, and programs is desirable.\nBeing sociable and able to engage with diverse constituencies is crucial.\nProficient in written and verbal communication, able to strategize operations, quality standards, and team priorities effectively.\nThe ability to critically review and propose amendments to policies, and to establish procedures that impact the managed organization.\nYou need computer skills, including Microsoft Office, data security, scheduling, payroll systems, electronic medical records, and email.\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - Masters' or Bachelors degree plus (2) two years of work experience above the minimum qualificationEXPERIENCE - (5) Five Years of ExperienceCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)
