 The Manager, Emergency Services is responsible for managing the operations of the Cherry Hill Emergency Department in accordance with Company policies, procedures, as well as State and Federal guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, meeting performance objectives such as financial targets, productivity standards, and delivering quality patient care. The Manager, Emergency Services is responsible for driving employee engagement and creating an environment which embodies Swedish's Mission, Vision, Values and Culture of Safety. Must stay current on local market developments and industry practices in anticipation of staffing shortages and plan accordingly in order to effectively staff a twenty-four hour a day operating unit. Must collaborate with internal departments and external clinics, referral agencies, pre-hospital care providers, and regulatory bodies in coordinating patient care. The Manager, Emergency Services is also responsible for oversight of the Volunteer Services Program at Cherry Hill and First Hill campuses. Additionally, the Manager, Emergency Services is responsible to maintain clinical competency and serve as a clinical resource for staff.

Required qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in NursingUpon hire: Washington Registered Nurse LicenseUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationExperienced Registered NursePrevious clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Tertiary Care facility2 years Nursing leadership

Preferred qualifications: 

Master's Degree in NursingUpon hire: TNCC and CEN
