Job Purpose/Summary:
This position will be responsible for helping optimize the Prepared Foods E2E Supply Chain. This will include establishing long-term manufacturing strategies to support demand through operational improvements or capital investments, while also maximizing E2E costs through cross functional teams. Presenting strategies for senior leadership alignment is a key element of this position. The role will be required to build relationships with key internal stakeholders to create and execute strategies to drive business goals.
• Help develop the 2-5 year manufacturing network strategy to increase network utilization and drive improved ROIC while supporting demand
• Help develop the 2-5 year logistics optimization strategy (DPS, redeployment optimization) and champion and support enterprise level initiatives for the Prepared Foods Business Unites
• Ensure Prepared Foods capital plan is integrated with manufacturing and logistics plans
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to solve production planning for major repair/replace capital projects to ensure we are addressing aging assets over time as part of network strategies
• Scope network optimization opportunities/scenarios, gain cross-functional business case alignment, and provide execution support
• Provide innovation sourcing decision analysis (make vs. buy) with Supply Chain Finance
• Key liaison with Supply Chain Finance in tracking optimization project timing and financial impact
Requirements:
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3-5 plus years of supply chain experience including a role of similar responsibility/scale in Supply Chain, Operations, Strategy, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, consulting or related field. Business acumen (CPG preferred) and basic P&L, with an emphasis in COGS knowledge is important.
Direct experience leading change management in large organizations.
Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.). Understanding of enterprise application is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Special Skills: Organizational agility to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels. Comfortable and effective in eliminating barriers and working across organizational boundaries to achieve project objectives. Proven networking and proven ability to develop proven partnerships across the enterprise to achieve results. Direct experience leading change management in global organizations. Ability to make strategy decision and influence senior leadership. Business acumen and a deep understanding of challenges, trends, and solutions. Ability to make decision with confidence and influence.
Travel: 6-12 domestics trips per year. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements.
