The Office of Real Estate supports the University of Pittsburgh's mission through real estate business management and services. The Office is responsible for real property leasing, acquisition, disposition, and partnership initiatives to meet core needs, support community and economic development, and grow commercial revenue.
Oversees day-to-day management of internal and external leasing functions for the University and also assists in portfolio management. Negotiates leases for University departments and owned commercial space and coordinates other staffs' lease functions. Resolves landlord/tenant issues, develops and suggests departmental improvements to operating procedures, and assists in property use reviews.

Manages real estate agreements and projects and therefore must be able to follow through on all aspects of the job, including interaction with university personnel, students, and non-University personnel such as brokers and other vendors. Must be able to interact with university personnel and non-University personnel. Must be able to travel throughout the University and project sites. Must be able to operate a computer.
