JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Information Systems Infrastructure is accountable for developing, directing and improving IS operations and staff. Manages a core functional team of IS professionals to deliver on run-the-business operations and projects, while monitoring performance and personal development. You will assist respective IS Directors and/or leadership with knowledge and implementing technical and process standards and helping department budget planning and management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

\n\nAssess and Design Review:\n\nEvaluate the current design of Citrix, Imprivata, VDI, virtual server, and Windows Server environments.\nEnsure the design aligns with industry best practices and organizational requirements.\n\nImplementation Assessment:\n\nAssess the implementation of the existing infrastructure.\nIdentify any deviations from the design and recommend corrective actions.\n\nPerformance Analysis:\n\nAnalyze the performance of the current setup.\nProvide recommendations for optimizing performance and resource utilization.\n\nSecurity and Compliance Review:\n\nReview the security measures in place for Citrix, Imprivata, and Windows Server environments.\nEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.\n\nDocumentation:\n\nDocument findings from the design and implementation review.\nProvide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.\n\nBest Practices Recommendations:\n\nRecommend best practices for maintaining and optimizing the Citrix, Imprivata, and Windows Server environments.\nSuggest improvements for VDI and virtual server configurations.\n\nStakeholder Communication:\n\nCommunicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.\nProvide clear and actionable insights to improve the overall infrastructure.\n\nContinuous Improvement:\n\nStay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Citrix, Imprivata, and Windows Server.\nPropose strategic enhancements based on emerging best practices.\n\n\n

Additional Day to Day Responsibilities  

\n\n\n\nCompleting Assessment of existing solution\nLead process improvement and standardization programs with a focus on best practice and end-user productivity    \nProduce and maintain desktop standards, knowledge bases, operating procedures, guidelines, and system documentation\n\n\nNext Generation\n\nMeet with leadership, identify requirements, review solutions based upon Customer requirements\nReview Business trends, identify key partners, and investigate new strategies and solutions to better serve our clinicians.\nLead project implementation and deployment of new solution \n\n\n\n

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

\n\nIdeal Candidates will have:\n\n8+yrs experience designing and delivering Citrix solutions (full-suite)\nIntegration of Citrix with Enterprise Products\nImprivata\nVirtual Servers and VDI's\nUnderstanding of best Patch Mgmt practices (testing/deployments)\nSCCM/InTune\nActive Directory/Group Policies\nMobile Engineering\n\n\nThe ideal candidate will have experience working in enterprise hospital systems\n\nMaintaining compliance is extremely important\n\n\n\n
