Key Responsibilities:
The Manager – Supply Chain Strategy Optimization will manage strategic initiatives across inventory management and supply chain. The manager will create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control. The manager will be responsible for various strategic projects like increase in parts investments due to new fleet or fleet expansion.

Manage key strategic projects for supply chain including supply chain parts investments, implementing inventory policies, creating and tracking supply chain metrics as well as benchmarking against industry standardsCreates and manages project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost controlConducts regular budget reviews as necessary to maintain cost control and support financial goals Analyzes and establishes system protection levels that support operations at the least total costConducts thorough analysis and prepares detailed reports on performance against planIdentifies trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-makingImproves operational reliability by minimizing aircraft out of service events, delays and cancellations related to the unavailability of spare aircraft partsEvaluates demand sources, supplier capabilities, strength and weaknesses of existing Supply Chain and models

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelors degree in supply chain, business, finance, operational management, operations research or engineering4 years of confirmed experience in fields of the Supply Chain, Airline or Manufacturing IndustryMicrosoft office, knowledge of relational database models, strong modeling skills, proficient in MS PowerPoint and ExcelStrong people skills and ability to develop internal and external relationshipsStrong technical, interpersonal, verbal and presentation skillsStrategic thinker with proven track record of implementing innovative solutionsStrong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple and competing prioritiesKeen sense of curiosity, high learning agility, business acumen, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, thought leader with a bias towards action and team focusedMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
