About the team

Our team of 30 colleagues has been the driving force for innovation in the area of document automation within the PwC Network. The team operates a document automation platform that is being used in almost 50 countries, will soon provide the services to the whole PwC Network globally and expand to external markets. Beside that, our team provides a broad range of services such as solution design, software implementation, software development and integrations, application management and maintenance, robotic process automation or data analytics.  A career in our team will provide you with a significant variability of activities, tasks and projects and will enable you to participate on global projects .

About your manager

Tomáš as a Partner in PwC leads the whole Document Automation team and cooperates with 4 team managers to create and execute our strategy. Tomas is passionate about team vision and delivering high quality services to our internal and external clients. He enjoys all outdoor sport activities, in particular cycling and cross-country skiing.

Job description & summary

For a growing PwC’s document automation team based in the Czech Republic, Prague we are looking for a Manager to lead the team and delivery of our projects and services to our clients.

You will:

Lead and develop team responsible for delivery of our document automation projects

Bring innovation and continuous improvement to our service offering

Manage complex cross-functional (sub)projects to deliver document automation solutions using the cutting-edge technologies

Be responsible for delivery of document automation to both internal and external clients

Create structured project plans based on the goals, resources needed, potential risks, time to market and budget constraints

Monitor progress, record issues and escalate when necessary, prepare recommendations and ensure project reports are completed by the due date to meet reporting requirements

Work on truly international projects

Requirements of the role

Minimum 6 years of experience in IT project management and at least 3 years in direct team leadership position

Experience with leading, motivation and development of a team

Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from start to finish.

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and ability to push things forward

Business focus mindset and ability to enrich our service offering to both internal and external clients

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and manage project teams.

Ability to identify risks and issues early and implement solutions that address and mitigate these risks.

Czech and English language, both spoken and written
