Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for overall HNW Ops Team operations to ensure a smooth process of new business and in force policy administration with his/her team members

Maintain high quality service standard expected of Sun Life brand in order to foster long lasting client relationships with internal and external clients

Set and maintain a robust control and monitoring to obtain sufficient information and documentation from clients for case management and review from onboarding to in force policy management and ensure underwriting requirements are met

Ensure effective process efficiency, policy insurance & renewal, client relations, and claims administration of cases and undertake other duties (such as reinsurance admin) as may be required build on a cohesive working relationship with all the team members and promote a right team culture for long term business sustainability through effective use the channel of VOA / VOE

Ensure HNW Operations processes is compliant in accordance with the latest regulations and laws by ensuring operation manuals and guidelines are up to date

Monitor all KPI and KRI and ensure HNW Operations processes TAT are met and enable senior management can monitor the progress in all key operation aspects of the business

Provide strong relationships to build sales, support product and proposition development, strengthen HNW Operations and expand business in Whole of Life, Universal Life, PPLI and VUL to complement UL sales and case management

As the lead representing HNW Operations on project works to drive possible change for ongoing product development, system and processes for continuous improvement for customer services excellence.  Identify gaps to ensure HNW Case Manager operations is efficient and effective to meet

Support and work with SLHK Partnership Team (International & Local Brokers, Agency, Bancassurance and MCI Team) to provide operational training as required

Able to handle any critical Ad-hoc event occur and report to management for any potential risks and issues may arise

Support and facilitate internal & external audits and provide follow up (if any findings) until they are satisfactory closed

Job Requirements

University Degree holder with at least 8 years experience in case management (preferably in HNW)

Candidate with FLMI and IIQE Qualification (paper 1, 3 & 5) is an added advantage

Posses solid product knowledge (Universal Life, Whole of Life and ILAS) and HNW underwriting

Understanding the needs and risks of HNW clients across Agency, FI and HNW to strike the right balance mitigating risk.

Understanding AML, KYC, CDD, Sanctions and all Risk activities is paramount Ability to expand scope into PPLI and VUL

Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills with proven ability to navigate among Operations, Investment, Product, Policies and finding wealth structuring solution

Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
