As a critical member of the local leadership team, you will ensure the interpretation, alignment and execution of the People Strategy and deliver and promote best practice and operational excellence of HR across South Asia for Zimmer Biomet. You will oversee the accountability of the HR function, be an advocate for the wider function, partner and leverage regional and global COEs to meet strategic HR needs of the business, including but not limited to leading on Organization Development, Transformation, Learning & Development, Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition Strategy, Employee Value Proposition, Total Rewards, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
How You'll Create ImpactPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive People Strategy, aligned with the APAC Commercial and HR leadership and broader Zimmer Biomet vision, to support its current and long-term local, regional and global business objectives.Understand the business priorities of the local leadership team, including the business strategy, P&L, and key initiatives that drive top and bottom lines. Support business planning, articulate data driven people insights and implications of key business activities and provide commercially sound solutions to support the business objectives.Serve as a Strategic HR Business Partner of the South Asia Leadership Team, advising leaders on talent, organization development and workforce planning and development.Assess the organization’s people capability to deliver on business strategies and plans and help design the optimal organization to deliver the business strategyCollaborate cross-functionally with COEs, Shared Services and business teams to drive HR initiatives that enhance the full employee lifecycle from talent acquisition to succession planning and employee engagement.Anticipate and handle Employee Relations by proactively triggering and investigating high risk issues.Analyse data and trends to develop insights and guide decisions around organization effectiveness.Work in collaboration with the wider leadership team to drive transformation projects, change initiatives of varying scope.Balance business needs, organization requirements, and protect the interests of the organization while advocating for employee interests, in service of creating a culture where employees and leaders reflect and live our ZB Guiding PrinciplesThis is not an exhaustive list of duties and may not necessarily comprise all the \"essential functions\" for purposes of the ABP.
