Position Details:

Location: New Port Richey, FL (hybrid)Status: Full Time (non-exempt)Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

The Manager GME:

Provides direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of academic program activities to include administrative support to the residency Program Director; and educational coordination between core faculty, attending physicians, residents, medical students, and institutional and regulatory administrative offices. The Program Manager must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the program and of the sponsoring institution in organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing procedures and systems, and ensuring orderly and timely work flow. Coordinate and administer human resource functions and participates in budget review and financial processes. Act for and make decisions in the program directors' absence within prescribed limits of authority.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent; orAssociates degree; orBachelor’s degree

 

Experience:

Required 3 years relevant Graduate Medical Education/Residency Program or relevant experience with bachelor’s; orRequired 5 years relevant Graduate Medical Education/Residency Program or relevant experience with associates; orRequired 7 years relevant Graduate Medical Education/Residency Program or relevant experience with high school diploma equivalent.

 

Certifications:

Preferred Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (C-TAGME)
