Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level **Job Summary** Responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve fundraising goals for Baylor Scott & White Health, specifically Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's. This position supports or manages the development, cultivation, and solicitation of high net-worth constituents. Creates and implements specific strategies based on constituent interests and goals. Works with hospital administrators, physicians, and staff to identify needs and develop compelling case statements for major fundraising initiatives. **Essential Functions of the Role** + Works autonomously and as a team member. Supports or manages relationship building, cultivation, and solicitation. Focuses on major gift donors and prospects with $25,000+ capacity. + Assesses giving potential, recommends target ask amounts, and develops personalized strategies for annual gifts. + Supports or conducts face-to-face visits, solicitations, and other high-level interactions with major gift donors and prospects. + Works closely with hospital administrators and staff to identify needs. Develops compelling case statements for areas needing funding. + Supports and participates in prospect identification, cultivation, and solicitation programs. This includes communication efforts, events, and creative strategies to generate high-level support. + Contribute to achieving team metrics for contacts with prospects and donors, and the number of solicitations. + Evaluates progress toward financial goals and makes strategic revisions to fundraising plans accordingly. + Initiates opportunities for hospital leadership, board members, volunteers, and program directors to interact with prospects and current donors. + Works with Prospect Researcher to identify new sources of support from personal major gift prospects. **Key Success Factors** + Masters Degree Preferred. + 7+ years of professional experience in relationship management or development support. + Experience in a profession with sophisticated relationship building such as private banking, high net-worth sales, and/or major gift fundraising. + Proven success in development demonstrated by achievement of bold goals and aim measures. + Success in building relationships with physicians, administrative executives, and very sophisticated, high-net worth clients. + Requires the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both orally and in writing. + Requires the ability to work under pressure and remain flexible as priorities change. + Must be very results-oriented and have a high sense of urgency. **Belonging Statement** We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. **QUALIFICATIONS** + EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification + EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience As a health care system committed to improving the health of those we serve, we are asking our employees to model the same behaviours that we promote to our patients.
