\nJob Summary
\nResponsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve fundraising goals for Baylor Scott & White Health, specifically Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's. This position supports or manages the development, cultivation, and solicitation of high net-worth constituents. Creates and implements specific strategies based on constituent interests and goals. Works with hospital administrators, physicians, and staff to identify needs and develop compelling case statements for major fundraising initiatives.
\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nWorks autonomously and as a team member. Supports or manages relationship building, cultivation, and solicitation. Focuses on major gift donors and prospects with $25,000+ capacity.\nAssesses giving potential, recommends target ask amounts, and develops personalized strategies for annual gifts.\nSupports or conducts face-to-face visits, solicitations, and other high-level interactions with major gift donors and prospects.\nWorks closely with hospital administrators and staff to identify needs. Develops compelling case statements for areas needing funding.\nSupports and participates in prospect identification, cultivation, and solicitation programs. This includes communication efforts, events, and creative strategies to generate high-level support.\nContribute to achieving team metrics for contacts with prospects and donors, and the number of solicitations.\nEvaluates progress toward financial goals and makes strategic revisions to fundraising plans accordingly.\nInitiates opportunities for hospital leadership, board members, volunteers, and program directors to interact with prospects and current donors.\nWorks with Prospect Researcher to identify new sources of support from personal major gift prospects.\n\nKey Success Factors
\n\nMasters Degree Preferred.\n7+ years of professional experience in relationship management or development support.\nExperience in a profession with sophisticated relationship building such as private banking, high net-worth sales, and/or major gift fundraising.\nProven success in development demonstrated by achievement of bold goals and aim measures.\nSuccess in building relationships with physicians, administrative executives, and very sophisticated, high-net worth clients.\nRequires the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively both orally and in writing.\nRequires the ability to work under pressure and remain flexible as priorities change.\nMust be very results-oriented and have a high sense of urgency.\n\nBelonging Statement
