Manager - Finance Technology Strategy & Project Management

The Finance organization is on a multi-year journey to modernize the Technology platforms that support all Finance processes. Our goal is to standardize data management & governance, consolidate and modernize applications and data stores, and leverage Cloud computing over time. Finance Technology Strategy & Project Management is instrumental in evolving and implementing the Finance Technology strategy, ensuring technology investments are aligned, and managing significant pan-Finance technology efforts to ensure they are successfully delivered in line with our modernization principles.

How will you make an impact in this role?

This position reports to the Director, Finance Technology Strategy & Program Management and plays a key role on the team evolving and implementing the Finance Technology strategy, overseeing the Finance modernization efforts, and driving pan-Finance technology projects from a program office perspective by partnering with Technology, Product and Process Owners to deliver our key priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

       Define and shape project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines: collaborate with stakeholders to set clear goals and establish measurable outcomes.        Setup governance structure and communication strategy to effectively communicate in a matrixed organization        Setup and maintain project artifacts        Engage business stakeholders (within and beyond Finance) to effectively manage the project lifecycle including requirement gathering and grooming, project plan development, risk remediation and escalation        Liaise with Product Owners and Technology leads regularly to refresh and maintain roadmaps and milestone plans and to proactively identify and mitigate risks        Monitor and document project progress against plans, milestones, and delivery risks, and track key performance indicators        Prepare and provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders. Create effective meeting content/presentations that convey key messages in a clear and effective manner that is easy to digest by the stakeholders        Work in an Agile setting, following agile methodologies and ceremonies        Coordinate with Technology, process owners and test managers to ensure extensive integration and end-user testing activities for Finance Technology        Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our key business partners including but not limited to: Finance Product and Process Owners, Finance Technology, and other SME

Minimum Qualifications:

       3+ years of project management experience supporting large, complex projects        2+ years of cumulative Finance business/process and/or product management experience        Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Analytics        Knowledge of Finance systems, operational processes, and interdependencies        Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbally) to all levels, including the ability to synthesize a lot of information into clear and compelling presentations        Strong relationship management skills and experience collaborating with and influencing multiple stakeholders        Understanding of Agile methodology and delivery concepts        Experience in risk management and addressing complex problems        Must be adaptable and resilient        Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills        Ability to work independently, be flexible, and drive results        Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and time demanding environment Ability to promote and drive change to further improve processes, making them more efficient and effective

Preferred Qualifications:

       Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting a plus        Exposure to Data Warehousing, Data Management, and other data related projects        Scaled Agile Framework certification        Project Management Professional certification

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
