We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-impact industrial construction projects and oversee the installation of precision manufacturing equipment. This role plays a critical part in managing facility renovations across a variety of operational environments, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and minimal disruption to production. The Project Manager will coordinate contractor activities, establish and enforce project standards, and ensure consistent execution across multiple initiatives. Effective communication with senior leadership is essential, as the role requires regular updates on project timelines, progress, risks, and budget implications.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Project Delivery: Lead complex industrial construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
+ Lead Contractor Partnerships: Build and manage strong relationships with contractors and subcontractors, driving performance and accountability to ensure seamless execution of complex construction and installation projects.
+ Champion Safety and Quality Excellence: Take ownership of safety and quality by proactively enforcing standards, leading site inspections, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to protect people and ensure exceptional project outcomes.
+ Apply Specialized Industrial Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of industrial construction and precision machine installation to guide project decisions and ensure full compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
+ Drive Strategic Renovation Projects: Manage critical renovations in active manufacturing and support areas—such as mechanical rooms, rooftops, and electrical spaces—while minimizing disruption to production and maintaining full code compliance.
+ Standardize and Scale Best Practices: Develop and implement scalable standards for communication, budgeting, and project management that improve efficiency and support alignment across cross-functional teams.
+ Engage Senior Leadership: Serve as a key liaison to senior manager stakeholders by delivering clear, data-driven updates on project progress, risks, cost impacts, and long-term infrastructure needs.
+ Uphold Compliance and Governance: Ensure all project activities adhere to internal procurement guidelines, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards, ensure compliance with Global Trade and Export Control regulations (including ITAR and EAR), and broader corporate policies.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
+ Proven experience in facilities project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
+ Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
+ Diverse facilities project experience including building management system, fire, and security system improvements.
+ Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
+ Experience with facilities management software and tools.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
+ Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
+ Experience working in a similar role within the aerospace sector.

**• Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
