Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary** This position will provide support in the management of mechanical and electrical maintenance (M&E), ensuring compliance with internal machinery service processes. It will also monitor compliance with safety regulations (LOTTO, ZMS, FDP). You will also work closely with the support team and engineers to implement training programs and continuous improvement strategies, ensuring compliance with MP, TPM, uptime, MTTR, and MTBF indicators. **What it Will do:** + Perform machine safety audits. + Identify and report on security risks. + Supervise and generate reports for the management of the machinery status. + Ensure the efficient execution of maintenance plans. + Support the team in implementing robust solutions to improve overall team efficiency, performance, and uptime. + Manage the tracking of work orders, spare parts consumption, and maintenance procedures. + Develop and improve maintenance routines, procedures, and technical documentation. + Ensure M&E condition plans based on the B5 methodology (quadrature, offsets, leveling, etc.). + Validate the management of maintenance budgets and the control of costs per asset. + Communicate key issues related to equipment performance and maintenance to the support team. **Education Requirement:** Requires bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. This position requires Advanced English **Skills you will have:** **Measuring Effectiveness** + Strong technical knowledge of Machining Centers. + Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical (M&E) technical diagrams. + Strong understanding of maintenance time management to optimize downtime. + Knowledge of the principles of the 5S. + Ability to design, implement, and maintain 5S strategies to ensure workplace standardization. **Troubleshooting** + Understanding customer service concepts and techniques and providing excellent service directly or indirectly + Ability to meet or exceed customer expectations. + Ability to anticipate, detect, and resolve technical issues in a manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of electrical/electronic and CNC control. + Ability to apply this knowledge to CNC machinery and equipment (machining centers, testing machines, presses, etc.). **Manufacturing Standards, Procedures, and Policies** + Knowledge of the rules and organizational procedures related to maintenance. + Ability to plan, guide, and monitor maintenance processes while ensuring regulatory compliance. **Plant Facilities Management** + High understanding in resolving and responding to customer issues with a sense of urgency and documenting customer complaints in a timely manner. **Supplier Management – Manufacturing** + Management, preparation and administration of short-, medium- and long-term capital projects (CAPEX). + Knowledge of Project management + Knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma). **The best candidates will also have:** + Training in Operation and Maintenance of Machining Centers + CNC machining training (Siemens, Fanuc, Mazak, Doosan, Landis) + CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) training + Specific training for OEMs in machining centers + PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Programming Training + Training in programming of industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.) + Industrial Automation Systems Training + Hydraulic System and Cylinder Testing Training + Electric Motor Control Systems Training + Industrial Instrumentation and Measurement Training **Additional information:** + This position will be in Villa Office, Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon, MX. + Your work schedule is Monday – Friday, 6:24 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., subject to changes. + One weekend per month, based on staff turnover + This position will have 10% domestic and international travel. + Active passport and USA visa are required + Relocation is not offered for this position. **Final details:** The Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select, and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
