Position Details:

Location: Wesley Chapel, FL

Status: Full Time - Salaried

 

The Manager Facilities: 

Plans, organizes, and coordinates the overall operations of the buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment. Accountable for development and achieving assigned goals, managing the operating and capital budgets, and overseeing the department's day-to-day operations ensuring equipment and buildings are properly maintained to BayCare, regulatory and industry standards. Determines priorities for repair, maintenance activities, and construction/renovation projects to maximize productivity and cost effectiveness while minimizing disruption to operations. Responsible for regulatory compliance and documentation of standards for agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Requires the utilization of technology and data to monitor, improve, document, and validate operational programs and projects. Takes appropriate action based on the analysis of data and reports. Collaborates with hospital leadership, Design & Construction Management, Infection Control and Safety Officer. Promotes Team Member growth through mentoring of staff. Actively participates in BayCare Facilities initiative and standardization activities. Promotes Manager of Facilities (M) or (L) position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Experience:

5 years Facilities Coord or above "OR" 5 years with a combination to include 1 year Facilities Coordinator and lead/advanced responsibilities or Supervisor experience is required.Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) is preferred.

Required Education:

Required - High School or EquivalentPreferred - Associates - Related Field;Preferred - Bachelors - Related Field
