Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainment 2. This position will be located in Roy, Utah. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What You Will Get To Do:
Functionally manage a team of 7-12 EHSS professionals across multiple program activities and locations.Conduct employee performance management, goal development, quarterly connections, leadership development, and knowledge retention.Collaborate with EHSS senior leadership to understand staffing needs, leadership development, performance management, and training requirements.Foster team engagement and collaboration to drive employee engagement, enhance development, improve training, and retain top talent.Support staffing through requisition development, facilitating and conducting interviews, onboarding, and mentoring staff.Leads and directs EHSS professionals, providing managerial oversight for multiple projects.Create and maintain standard processes and procedures for managing multiple projects to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.Manage resources, communications, risk management, and develop standards, processes, and tools related to project management that align with both corporate and DS sector policies, procedures, and guidance.Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of requirements supporting multiple projects.Assist with integration activities, data calls, metrics generation, data collection, and reporting.Interface with leadership and the team to update project status, scheduling forecasts, and addressing future obstaclesDelivering presentations and briefings on project status to internal leadership and customers.Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.Identifying, allocating and managing project management resources, including workforce planning.Evaluating performance based on defined expectations while overseeing projects and tasks assigned to the organizational group performed by non-exempt and/or exempt employeesApplying knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performanceIdentifying and addressing programs impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflictsAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related professional work experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against scheduleCurrent PMI PMP CertificationAbility to obtain a Secret level clearance as well as the ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable periodThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Master of Business Administration (MBA), or advanced Project Management (PM) Degree/CertificationsCurrent program access and familiarity with the Sentinel ProgramPrior functional management experience and experience building diverse and inclusive teamsPrior experience coordinating across multiple disciplines and large teamsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsSalary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
