What the day will look like
Responsible for supporting the Senior Manager / Associate Director / Director in the design and implementation of effective risk management and insurance programs for prospects and clients. Day to day management of all client service activities. Retention and development a portfolio of Energy accounts. Complying with all non-negotiable policies of the company.
Main Duties & Accountabilities
Account Administration
+ Assisting in managing workflow / priorities of Energy clients.
+ Ensuring all documentations and procedures are in compliance with company standard.
+ Managing income booking.
+ Attending client meetings.
+ Attending surveys and Risk Management and marketing activities as designated.
Account Monitoring
+ Attending to client enquiries.
+ Arranging for processing of adjustments / amendments to insurance program.
+ Coordinating and cooperating with Finance and Accounting Department (FAC) on premium collection from Cedents and premium payment to Reinsurers and overseas Aon offices.
Business Management
+ Assisting with Broking and Pre-Renewal Strategy planning.
+ Reviewing on premium, policy terms, wordings and endorsements.
+ Completing placement of covers, policy and endorsement (co-ordinated with the related AEs).
+ Monitoring team budget and forecast in conjunction with the related team members / Director.
Claims’ Services
+ Liaising with claims department, where required, to provide claims summary analysis on clients’ accounts
Key Result Area
+ Holding accountability.
+ Engaging and contributing to the team success.
+ Knowing the client and building a relationship with the clients.
+ Understanding the clients’ businesses.
+ Determining the clients’ risk management and insurance needs.
+ Being alert to political or other developments which may affect the Aon relationship.
+ Detecting the changing needs of clients to assist in forward planning and product development.
+ Advising clients on uninsured areas and transferring general insurance knowledge to clients.
+ Formulating an effective and efficient (cost effective) insurance and risk management program for the clients.
+ Assisting in placement of insurance program with insurer(s) / reinsurer(s).
+ Effective planning / coordination / communication / delegation / motivation of the account service team.
+ A high standard of day-to-day service; prompt attention to client requests; provision of all client documentation, well presented, within acceptable periods.
+ Applying Aon Group Quality System procedures as applicable and as documented. Minimize exposure to E&O claims.
+ Assisting FAC with credit control where premium payments are long overdue or as otherwise specifically requested.
+ Co-ordinating and following up with insurers and reinsurers, where required.
+ Co-ordinating with the overseas network, where required.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Proven minimum 5-7 years' experience in Insurance Industry or Energy Industry and Reinsurance
+ Bachelor's Degree or higher level
+ Proficient in both written and spoken English and Thai
+ Good Interpersonal & Communication skills
+ Customer service skills and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work under pressure
+ Ability to adapt and learn quickly
+ Positive Attitude
